This is an interesting solution to tight curved ramps! I've found that using a 1m ramp and 10 degree corner can still make a usable spiral along as you limit the width to 1.5 foundations. Any more and the lip starts getting too tall

Nice technique for small-footprint spirals! Also it was a nice touch to include the guide foundations in the blueprint; that eliminates tedium and mistakes.

If diameter is not an issue, I found the 5° curves look nice if I alternate ramps and flat foundations on the outer lane. So that means the inner lane is all 1m or 2m ramps, while the outer one is alternately 1m ramps and flats, or alternately 1m ramps and 2m ramps. I have also added these flat pieces to smooth out the precise N° curves generated by SCIM. (That SCIM road tool is handy when I'm building a curve to connect two existing things... but your tool is way faster and simpler!)

Very creative solution. Thanks for doing the hard work so I can just use the blueprint!

Love your Satisfactory vids mate. Hope they continmue. Cheers.

Really good idea and well explained. Thanks. It looks like you might have room on the blueprint design to string together a few segments to make the ramp construction even faster.

This is so helpful! Thank you very much for posting.

Only way you could “improve” it would be to add the little power nubs to it so you could use a hover pack to build it.

This is great! I'm going to grab the BP and see if I can use it

How slow does the truck go when it's fully loaded ?

Hey this was really good! I think like you said it's a good first step to finding a "propper" solution to this particular issue. I'm really bad at testing these sorts of things myself. I wonder if it wouldnt be possible to lower the outer part of the turn to make it less of an "banking curve. Or if it's simply a matter of manually extending the outer parts until they become flush with the original ramp to chip away at the bump on the outer edge.

actual tutorial at 9:34

I came here "for an explanation of how to use these" not a 12 minute introduction demonstration seeing your thought process and how you built it.

I just use one meter ramps ahhaha. This is way too complicated. Good for a tight curve but one meter ramps on the sides of 1m walls works better my dude.
