I totally agree with Tripod’s pros and cons regarding the K2 Plus. Even given the cons, I love my K2.

+1 on open sourcing RFID. manufacturers could work together to standardise then either filament manufacturers could add RFID to their filament or you could add RFID tags yourself to any roll and program it yourself

Great work as always! Enjoyed all the testing! Seems like most of your issues will be resolved with some slicer tuning. Seems like a decent machine so far! Can’t wait to see what more you do with it!

18:30 seems like youre using purge into infill there on that dumpster. how did that do for reducing the wasted filament?

Appreciate all the tests! Also great to see it could handle a 100 hour print.

Thank you for sharing. Bambu still takes the cake when it comes to quality parts off the machine from what it looks like.

Nice review. Bambu Lab X1 Carbon is on sale at the time this was posted, so it's actually cheaper than the K2. I do like the tried and true linear rails on the X axis over the carbon rods, however, the verdict may still be out on the carbon rods. Your video volume was a bit low.

Wow that was a good size comparison with the ender 5 plus. The ender 5 isn't small by no means and the K2 plus is a monster next to it. The dumpster was cool, shout out to Steven Lightspeed. Great video buddy

Crazy how far it has come since my original Ender 3. 🤯 100 Hr print is wild. How much did the large panda weigh?

Great review Tripod! Seems that you did a lot more testing than most others. Outside of the Panda prints, the others looked great! Definitely looks to be the model.

John, looks like the best Creality printer yet. Love the reference to Taco Bell, I think many of us have had a similar experience. Will be interesting to see how this holds up.

I would buy one since the big printing area is fantastic but I hear people who are super happy and some are super mad for buying it. I don't know what to do

To all you bambu guy's that come on and knock CREALITY and say no one has problems with bambu, you are a fool. All printers have problems, But not all printer Co.s STEAL YOUR INFO such as bambu

The color change could have been caused by activated adaptive layers

Nice Video! That file on the Panda being messed up sucks but that dumpster was amazing quality. The Benchy and knitted character were great! How long until the community finds a way to add reptile heaters and hygrometer to the CFS? I want to print a glass height extension/ vent for the top of the printer to keep the teflon filament tube from rubbing when mine arrives. I am still patiently awaiting mine.

How long does it take to heat up the bed? Say to 70c and 100c? Any info would be appreciated. As I am considering this machine.
