In this tutorial I am demonstrating a rescue and recovery efforts. It starts off as a puddle pour which I didn't love, so i swiped it and added Rain X Original Formula Water Repellant. All paints mixed 1paint:2Floetrol then thinned with 90%water/10%floetrol mixture. with a splash of Liquitex Pouring Medium added to the colors.

Puddle pour is the only pour I have not try since I starting pouring. That is a lovely green puddle pour and I like those cells.

Anyway, great save with the swipe AND Rainex! Yes, yes...this technique so easy that children can do it!?!?!

I’ve seen the chameleon swipe, with silicone using a comb. I’m wondering if you did that with rain X how that would work.

I tried the same RainX using an eyedropper and it did nothing on my painting - but I only use Floetrol and the 90/10 mix - is it because I didn't use any Liquitex pouring medium?
