Love watching old WCW videos, I wasn't able to watch WCW until 2000.

96 - 97 both companies was starting to build a resurgence, 98 both companies was on fire then 2000 one company arguably had the best year for PPV's top to bottom while the other company started to fizzle out

WCW in 1996 felt a little like two different eras, pre NWO and when the NWO was running wild.

Became a wrestling fan and WCW fan on January 1st, 1996.

It's mostly due to nostalgia, but 1996 is my all-time favorite year of wrestling for both WCW and WWE.

While 1998 I feel the greatest year in wrestling history, 1996 will always forever be my favorite, and it has aged well for both companies.

I can watch 1996 over and over again. Nitro, Raw, Pro, Saturday Night, Worldwide, Superstars, Main Event, Mania/LiveWire, Free 4 All, the PPVs, etc

Since my initial viewing of 1996 back then, I think I have gone back and watched everything at least 3 times.

Especially considering how each half of the year in WCW were like two completely different companies.

WCW FOR LIFE!!!!

I remember during COVI! I watch WCW form 1995 after nitro all the way to the last episode of Nitro! 1996 was one of my favorite year even before the NWO! I think it help that it was the first time seeing it in full with the background not just hearing about it!

Year of the Dragon! I never cared about him being a heel, one look at the J-Crown as a kid convinced me that Ultimo was the greatest wrestler alive. (The matches didn't hurt either.)

Bash 96 was an all-time classic. Probably the best Bash since the 89 Bash, which might well be the best PPV in history.

Uncensored 1996 was peak Hulk Hogan ego stroking.

Flair vs. Eddie was an underrated match.

Hogan vs. Piper was solid. But the non title finish was lame.

Is there even a reason to start this before June '96?
