Microsoft Edge was the fastest and cleanest tool I've ever used to install Chrome.

I think that chrome's best. Even if you have to have 128GB of RAM for two tabs.

I just turned 17 (it's midnight here in the UK), and I'm happy to say this is the first video I have watched as a 17 year old.

I don't really care about performance anywhere near as functionality. Edge has no extension support, and it's missing even basic functions like Back button history.

It's perfectly fast enough for me, and the memory footprint is fine. But it has no compelling features. I care about extensions and syncing between my devices infinitely more than I care about doodling on web pages.

2) Download your favorite browser
3) While your browser is installing, unpin EDGE from start
4) Pin your favorite browser

I understand the draw and usage of Chrome browser. I use it at work, but at home I prefer Opera. Layout with speed dial are great. The sync and bookmarks needs a lot of work. Opera had a nice layout before. I'm sure it will return again soon.

I'm personally a Firefox fan myself, enjoying the sheer amount of addons and tweaks to chose from that allow me to really make the browser my own. Infact, I think I might have a few too many. Stylish and Greasemonkey for userscripts, Privacy Badger, Disconnect and HTTPS everywhere for privacy, secure browsing and uBlock Origin for adblocking that hasn't been bought out by Google.

I still use IE only. I like having all the options easy to get at without having to go through menus and the fact that's its preinstalled with win 7 makes it a win win.

The AskCortana feature is quite helpful to me!! When I read some articles and come across words I don't knw, it's easy to right click & ask Cortana instead of opening a new google and typin it in!

Working consumer IT, my biggest problem with edge is no backup way to access settings (ex; inetcpl.cpl for IE, or Shift open for FF) People are getting to malicious home, the kind that open a prompt that keeps reopening upon closing. You can't access settings. The workaround is rather easy, though or team spent about an hour figuring it out. So if you run into this, the answer is to open a bookmark, like from your favorites folder. This opens a new tab in Edge so you can get to the settings.
