Napoleon didn't kill 4, 000, 000 people in Europe. When he became Emperor of France, Europe was already at war and he only annexed territories during defensive wars. Napoleon tried to make peace with the other european countries during all his reign 😕

I'm italian, and i consider him an Hero. He was Italian in Blood, and i'm pround of him. Yes i know, he was French, but his French was the best for me as an Italian, he created an Italian Kingdom...yeah he annex Tuscany, Piedmont..but afterall he gave us the idea of unity and i admire him so much! (Sorry for my bad english and explanation, i tryed my best)

Worst thing Napoleon did was his policy toward Haiti/slavery. I still think he was good overall. Also his whole thing ended up leading to the rise of Napoleon III, which I consider a pretty good thing.

Napoleon was a hero he loved France he never wished war the great powers of Europe started making coalitions against him

Certainly a hero, he was just a good general that otmanouvred his enemies to make them sue for peace before they could combine their strengt. 1 small detail most wars were declared upon Napoleon and when he declared war himself it was because Spain/Russia broke the treaty of Tilsit or abolished the continental system. Vive l'empereur!

While he wass responsible for lots of killings, hes not like other dictators like Hitler, where he would kill whole ethic groups. And he did do a lot of good things so it's hard to make him a villian or an hero.
