The real African sponge has knots, if it doesn’t have knots it is NOT a real African sponge. I ordered several off amazon and I was told by an African I didn’t have the right one. She referred me to an African store and they educated me on the real vs fake. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY AFRICAN TOWEL AND I WILL FOREVER USE IT.

It still traps lots and lots of bacteria ! Just a little advice when u finish with your shower rinse it out and put in vinegar water mix to kill bacteria,

Hey I'm from South Africa.. this is just a re-purposed onion or orange bag that you get your fruits or veg in. I think you've been had, $7.99 is a bit excessive where we would pay $0.26c if we just went to store. Just thought I'd let you know🫣

For those with sensitive skin, this product is extremely good!

Also, If it’s to rough for your skin you can boil it in some hot water. If it’s soft, you can put it in the dryer. Got that tip from my sister ❤❤❤❤

I love mine, but I still need a towel for my privates, I didn't find it to be good for those areas at all lol.. But I use the net for everything else

That is not African net sponge. It's a Chinese product. Yes, I was a victim of that. The African net sponge does not have small holes.

I’m gonna order mine from Akoma skincare (I’m in the UK). I was skeptical at first because they look similar to the mesh puffy loofahs that do Jack shi💩 for my skin but everyone can’t be capping about the African sponge so I’m gonna order it😂 x

I have one of these as well. They work, I like them but they are not the authentic version which is made of 100% nylon and not polyester like these. I guess the authentic ones would be less exfoliating as well.
