I would strongly recommend having a fecal sample checked for parasites by your veterinarian, as it is very common for dogs to contract Giardia from drinking dirty water like from your duck pond or while stray, or in an animal shelter through contact with other dogs and feces. While infected, the symptoms of diarrhea and vomit can start to seem like they are going away which tricks you into thinking she is getting better, and then the next week they begin again.

Idk if anyone else has mentioned it but boiled chicken (no seasoning) and rice cooked in the broth from the chicken for about a week will help Queen's tummy get back to right. We've had to do it with a cpl of our puppers a few times. Works like a charm.

I imagine Queenie was so stressed at the vet she refused to eat. I had a cat be at the vet for 3-4 days and refused to eat literally anything they put in front of her. Not really their fault.

you can put Queen into a clean tshirt (tie/sew it on the back, so it's not loose) to separate her healing wound from the nasty outside filth and to prevent her from licking it (she might lick the stitches out and reopen the wound).
and like many other people said, unseasoned boiled chicken and white rice will help her tummy go back to normal after weeks of an improper diet. imo you shouldn't go too crazy with processed food like hot dogs for a few weeks.

From a fan in vet med... you should definitely be restricting Queen's activity for the next two weeks after her spay. Letting her run around/jump/rough house can cause her incision to open up/herniate. And keep the cone on!

I have only been keeping bees for 5 years, however to answer your question, the reducer can be removed and is really only needed when the hive is weak or its fall when they are likely reduced in size for wintering. Also consider putting some weather proof paint on the hive box so it will last longer. Additionally I cant recall if there is a mouse guard installed on the entrance. A mouse guard would be recommended too. I lost a hive last year because I did not have one.

I saw Kevin at a grocery store in Waco yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence, ” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

So glad you found Queen! I know you always keep a positive face but losing a companion is horrible, so sorry for the feelings you've been dealing with the last few weeks and again so glad to see you reunited!

Please get trackers for them, Uncle Ben, so if something like this happens again, hopefully not though, it'll be easier to find them. Still thankful Queen was safe all throughout her disappearance. I'm hoping you'll keep all three doggos, but hopefully Queen 2 gets to live in a good home.
