I upgraded to the op11 from the 10pro

Op11 camera is way way better, and the battery life is way way better. Those are 2 things that really stood out to me. Specifically the camera is so much faster, the shutter speed, which is not something a lot of plp seem to mention, in day to day usage, it makes a huge difference.

I picked up this phone over the weekend for me it's a media consumption device. My iPhone is my daily out of necessity since I use an apple watch but I still much prefer the android experience and the screen and speakers on this device are great. For me the camera is not important and the free bump to 16GB ram /256GB for 699 made it hard to pass up

I really think this is one of the best overall flagship deals going right now. Pretty much has most everything, if not everything, most people would want. At least $100-$200 less than most of the closest rivals.

Good review. I tried the Pixel 7 Pro and honestly think the OP11 is on par in terms of camera. It excels where it counts IMO is portrait mode. I take a lot of photos of my kids and pets to which the OP11 takes gorgeous portraits. Does great in low light and macro shots. I do wish they would shoot 4k in the front but I hardly ever film with the selfie and it does a pretty good job for what I need it to. OP11 is by far the best in it's price range.

And for 10 Pro vs the 11, I do agree it's probably not worth upgrading. However, the snapdragon 2 alone might make it worth upgrading if you're into gaming and battery performance. Plus the longer software updates is something else to think about.

Honestly, I would think that it would be a little bit difficult to determine the functionality of the cameras at this point. After all, the 11 just came out and it hasn't even had any updates as of yet. As I remember, the 10 Pro started out a little shaky but, after some updates it improved dramatically. I strongly suspect that the 11 will make the same transition. Strictly speaking, a test like this would probably be more determinative if it were performed a few months from now. Seldom is a device perfect straight out-of-the-box.

It's an even better deal when you consider that Amazon is selling it upgraded to 256GB for the entry $699 price. When the preorders were running you could also get an free $100 gift card with the same purchase price. An instant purchase for me to get the latest hardware at one of the best prices plus I could use that gift card for things I needed. Happy to upgrade from my Zenfone 6. The only thing that sucks at the moment is waiting for cases to be sold in the US or having to import them. At the moment you can only pickup clear or fake leather cases on Amazon that aren't going to take two weeks to get delivered.

J. Will, I bought the OP 11 with the intentions of taking advantage of the $250 trade-in that OP is offering me for my 7 Pro. I'm just having a hard time letting my 7 Pro in that Nebula Blue go! It's such a pretty phone and the pop-up camera is very unique. Besides the refresh rate, I don't really see that much difference for what I use it for. Am I making a mistake for not taking advantage of the $250 off by not trading? I'm also thinking about returning the 11. Your thoughts

I use nova launcher with a clear icon pack on everything but that's just my preference. There's a lot of outstanding oem UIs out there.

Well it is same for every brand on top models. S22U owner's there is no point in changing S23U.
improvements small.

Same Iphone pro max, which actually messes with the new pixel amounts.

it's not just about oneplus problem, that it is better than last one but not worth changing, if you have previous model.

Looking at this device to upgrade from my LG devices. G8 has no more support, and my V60 is having some Bluetooth issues. Wanted the Zenphone 9 but I am on Verizon which it doesn't support. Good video, thanks for your honesty on this device.
