Atomic MRX - 2500KV Hardbody | First Drive Impression & Setup #miniz

Показать описание
I made this video on 9/23/2024.
I made this video before the DWS for the MRX was released. I’ve already preordered the DWS kit and the 1.5° caster which I will probably have by the time this video goes public.
This car in the 2500-Lipo Class is very easy to drive and competitive! It never felt like the car was going to traction roll (after front tires were broken in) and although the rear of the car was planted, it never felt like the car had a lot of understeer. It had a little push compared to my race car (other car) but then again I did not fine tune this MRX at the track. If I did that, I know I can get the steering I want but the car as is, was already so good even with that very minimal push. I also want to add that the the left rear wheel hub was overly torque so when I spun the diff without the pinion, it was NOT spinning on its own. I found out after the test (at home) that the hub walked when I tightened the set screw. It moved and leaned on the left bearing. Also, I was having so much fun with this car that I forgot I wanted to test the car with the same wheels and tire compound as my race car. I didn't get to do that and if I did, I think I would've had the same steering as my race car. Too much fun driving this car with the R8 body. :D If you’re looking for a good race car that’s under $300, this would be it!
*Motor Pod bearing cups:* I shave the cups ID and OD so the bearing in the cup and cup in the pod doesn't have a tight fitment. Do at your own risk!
