I'm happy you included Canon Beach. I love florida beaches and white sand. But Oregon has a very unique coast line with crisp fresh air.

I practically raised my first kid on Coney Island/Brighton Beach. New York Aquarium is another good spot to visit if you are there. It's an excellent place for kids!

Jeff, I couldn't agree more about Hapuna Beach. The only drawback to it is that sometimes the waves are borderline too big to swim safely. Since Hapuna is the best beach I have ever been to, let me be the first to push you for the two you think are better than that.

Just randomly thought I would look up the best beaches in the US, and to my surprise I've been to a lot of these. Clearwater, Canon Beach, Newport, Laguna. Haha they are all great fro different reasons! Though I went to some hidden beach on the Big Island once, I don''t remember the name.. but that was my favorite beach ever!

I was waiting to hear Traverse City Bay or Torch Lake or Crystal Lake All in the Same area in Michigan. The Great North .Chicago's ok but our Aqua blue green clearest water I have ever seen any where and I've seen alot of beaches thee sand is so white it lookslike snow.Go ahead look them up on line. I love Our Northern Michigan beaches better than anywhere else. Honestly Key West Jamaica are about the only beaches that come close .Michigans biggest secret.Alot of people are going to be pissed because we are already overcrowded in the summer.But places like this should be enjoyed by everyone.
