Someone used this song on FB and I’m a guitar player and singer myself and know if I’m gonna like the song within the first 5-10 seconds. Seeing snell’s video was like seeing myself at a gas station buying that tall boy in a brown paper bag to get buzzed before going to the same place to get drunk to see the same man for over a year. Feeling so empty and alone the next morning while on a high the night before /seeking out validation and praying to God for the madness to stop, he made it stop after ending up alone in a freezing cold jail cell.

Where I discover you Mr Blake Tyler. I don’t know the legality of it all, but this version needs no music video, bc those of us who have clawed our way out of the pit already have our own unique visual in our head to this song. We remember praying non stop but the madness down there pulls you back so easily. A song that hits your soul between the eyes just doesn’t need a bunch of sprucing up. An acoustic guitar or piano with a beautiful soulful voice is all it needs. That studio sound takes so much away from the simplicity and soul in this song, I can’t help but be reminded of hearing “save me” by Jelly Roll. Just an acoustic guitar. This is Snell’s song, but you were meant to sing this no doubt 100%. I know real talent when I hear it, the goosebumps never lie. I’m about to check out your channel and listen to what else you got, but this version should be blowing up across country radio. Well done ❤
