I feel like they could've made Lagertha even more badass. They spent more time on her death tribute than when she was alive. The whole Astrid thing was a waste of time & I wish she had more badass fighting scenes. She had all the looks, the aura but the physical stunts were just not enough. Really wish she was given more attention to. The scene after she died where her 'soul' floats in the ocean surrounded by Valkyries had more impact than any of her actual fight scenes. She could have been so much more iconic, I love her so much. Amazing as a wife, mother, shield maiden, ruler, woman, grandmother. She's just perfect. Ragnar's life started turning south after he didn't defend Lagertha and let her leave. As she should. She tolerated a lot of Ragnar's ishs & knew when he insulted her enough that she had to leave for her own self-respect. And she took only 1 night to think 😂 Ragnar suggested having 2 wives & the next morning she was like aite I'm out of here 🤣 what a legend. The only 'Ragnar son' that had any worth to his name was Bjorn Ironside. That shows you most of the greatness came from Lagertha herself. And if you argue that Bjorn is Rollo's son, well for him to be end up as the king of kings without having Ragnar's gene as a father just shows you even more Lagertha was where all that greatness came from, in a male form.

Lagertha is so fricking beautiful. Can’t believe Ragnar would lose her for someone that isn’t even as good as Lagertha, even if it was to get more sons. Lagertha is so much better in every way and way more beautiful and way more badass 😍❤❤❤ she is always my favorite in this series no matter what!!!! ❤❤❤❤ I’m sorry but if men don’t like the confidence and power she gives them they don’t get how badass and strong women can be throughout life!!!
