Sweetwater Sales Engineer Tyler Davis presents the MWM Phase Essential Wireless DVS Controller. Imagine being able to DJ with DVS-compatible DJ software without having to use control vinyl — or without ever dropping a needle. It's possible, with the MWM Phase Essential Wireless DVS controller system. The Phase system consists of a dock and two transmitters, which you'll place atop your records on your decks. The transmitters are essentially motion sensors, reading the motion of the record and transmitting it back to the dock. The dock connects to your DVS rig via RCA connections, allowing you to control your digital tracks just like you would with control vinyl. And because the MWM Phase Essential Wireless DVS controller system doesn't use a needle to track your movements, it's impervious to external issues such as excessive rumble.

So technically the turntables dont need to be hooked up to the mixer? It just needs to be plugged into the wall outlet for it to spin for the rotation?

I'm not a DJ. I love the art. I just have one question? Is this a device to make it look like you're using vinyl and turning your old school controllers in to the usual digital mixer? Just a question. Please put me in my place if I'm out of line.

I just got this and went through all the steps for downloading the phase manager, setting up my username and password, updating firmware and connecting the Phase remotes to my records. But, for some reason, I am unable to get any sound or connection with the waveform in Serato software and the Phase remotes

So, if I have 2 TT and a vestax mixer, can I use this to control seratodj pro, then keep using my vestax PMC 05 Pro with this plugged to the line inputs? And just load the files directly on the laptop?
