Tq mam....yesterday this question came in exam ...and wrote as it is u said in this ....but comparators formula is( 2^n)-1 mam ....nd i wrote the formula also correct ....once again tq i got r-2r ladder also in yesterdays exam that one also i wrote tqsm mam

It's not 2 power N-1 it's (2^N)-1

D0 should be at high.... If Vin= 0v then output must be zero in binary... Correct me if I am wrong...

What if when we get vin=vd. We Will stop there? If yes, then in case of vin= 3, we are getting 011 at 2nd clock pulse only but for 3 bit 3 clock pulses required..Can you please clear this doubt?
