Lots of news revolving around moves in Russian gold since their invasion of Ukraine earlier this year. This video covers the primary moves so far, several of which are still in motion. Yesterday, Russia accused Western nations of essentially stealing their gold due to sanctions. This will be a topic to watch closely even though what's happening with gold here in the United States is dramatic this year as well – it simply doesn't get much press.

If there’s indeed a plan to use gold as the base for CBDC, it is only reasonable to suppress public interest in the gold before it happens. My few cents.

For Australia, to have less than 100, 000 tons of gold reserves is disappointing. Perth mint and others keeps exporting it overseas.

My entire window onto the gold market consists of one local coin shop. What I’ve observed is low inventory in older bullion but higher sales through special orders to long-time customers. The shop isn’t going broke anytime soon.

I had to listen to your video twice to understand the analysis. That isn’t a bad thing…I’ve been aware of Russia’s attempts to use gold strategically, but not of any of potential global effects. Good vid!
