all scenes from the original are so much better than the remake, what is it with the Patric Swayze remakes? from red dawn to point break and now road house. they're all such a slap in the face to the amazing Patrick Swayze.

I did enjoy the new one but no way does it compare to the original. In fact I think calling it Road House probably hurt the movie. It was a lot of fun and Gyllenhaal was amazing! But a lot of the humor didn’t really work, the villain was no threat, and the owner of the bar was barely a character.
