This was a last minute adventure to celebrate our anniversary. The destination is Boca Grande, FL. A charming little beach town on the Gulf coast. It's only a 28 mile trip from our home port of Salty Sam's Marina on Fort Myers Beach. So we found a hotel with boat docks and rented a golf cart to get around, and hoped in Crystal Blu to head north.
We jumped in the golf cart and bounced around Boca Grande. We stopped at Eagle Grille & Miller's Dockside, Mimi's 3rd Street Grill, Temptations, and the Key Lime Bistro. For our nice dinner we were recommended to Scarpa's Coastal and it was fantastic.
The next morning we loaded up in Crystal Blu and headed north to the famous Boca Grande sand bar. We had been wanting to boat to this spot for years and we finally put the trip together! It's a huge hangout spot for boaters and some of the most stunning water around. You just can't beat it!
We highly recommend boating to Boca Grande!
