We have used straws, wire, beads and Popsicle sticks to complete this DNA structure Model project DIY .
For rotating DNA model Central Axis we used bicycle spoke.
Requirements:
1) Popsicle sticks:

10. The major groove is wider than minor in this model.
11. DNA model Project ideas are based on Watson and Crick model of DNA.
