Here's why you SHOULDN'T install peel smart remote:
1.There is no way to get rid of it as it becomes a part of system apps, making it impossible to uninstall (much like youtube, or your phone app, which you can't uninstall) unless you use a root which is dangerous and often ineffective.
2.Displays full screen ads that lead to spam websites and often display inappropriate content.
3. Ads come in the middle of phone calls and cut the connection with the other person, so after dismissing the app, you have to call again.
4.They apply their own lock screens instead of your own which you have set.
5. Ads and buttons block content and certain keys on the keyboard, for example, if you just got the app and the button is blocking a key required in your pass code, you won't be able to unlock your phone.
6.Does not work for most devices. It may work for a few brands or models, but quite often it doesn't.
7.Many users report that it only works for the Samsung Galaxy S5 and they have had no luck with other models.
8.Advertisements come in the form of pop-ups, in the middle of calls and games, no matter how many times you try to disable it.
9.Interferes by sending advertisements that you have to watch for 5 to 30 seconds before you can skip or disable it.
10. Requires permissions for things that a remote app shouldn't be asking for. Such as access to contacts, photos, if it can make and answer phone calls, etc.
11. Imposes ads and screensavers upon you regardless of the fact that you are using the app or not. I wouldn't recommend the app to even my worst enemy. It's not worth it, you are better off buying a new remote or trying for a paid app that doesn't include the ads or excessive permissions.
