Joan Sanderson (Miss Ewell) is a marvelous actor. I first saw her as Lady Bassett in "Strychnine in the Soup" (Wodehouse Playhouse). The episode also had John Alderton (playing Cyrill Mulliner), and she darn near outdid him. No small shakes, as JA is a super actor in his own right.
