Was hoping you'd end with the tent up, but I realize how dark and late it was. Just interesting how as one with camping you are. It's a pop up tent, right? I noticed you were wearing 5-finger shoes when you were visiting Abram. You just slipped those puppies on like it was nothing! I'm still considering purchasing a pair. I love to go barefoot, so it would make sense. BTW: Have been enjoying your book Following My Thumb. A GREAT read, I highly recommend it.

Thx for the shout out Gabe. Freecampsites.net is good as long as people keep it updated and contribute new sites. I have found, depending on location, the free sites lack services and the best views but what do you expect for free? BTW, not many free or cheap sites along the California Coast...especially from San Francisco down.

They have added a "travel map" feature wherein you can enter a route and it will show campsites along the way, neat!

Wow, you must be good at pitching a tent if you can do it in the dark. I don't know if you've done it since this video, but I really would appreciate a lesson in how to pitch a tent by yourself in one of your tips vids. You're very good at detailing things more than any of those other tutorials out there.
