Gamin (Ivor Novello) played by Marie Novello - Duo-Art roll

Marie Novello was the adopted sister of composer Ivor Novello. One of the last pupils of Leschetizky, she recorded two rolls for the Duo-Art (the other was a Dvorak Humoresque). She recorded a number of discs in the 1920s of rather more substantial material.

Actually, Marie Novello had her last lesson with Leschetizky in 1907 and he continued teaching until 1913, so she wasn't really one of his last pupils.
