What if... Nurgle wrote a love song?

Help me keep the Endless Tavern running!

#warhammer #warhammer40k #warhammermusic

Lyrics:

What artist has a muse so fine?
whose works could match these works of mine?
Through you, my plagues transcend mere death
Pure love is found within each breath

and Every cure you whisper free
Returns more perfect back to me
Songs of plagues and remedies
Composed in garden Melodies

While beauty bows to time's decay
Our love grows stronger day by day
As seasons turn, we're intertwined
My garden's bloom, forever mine

and Every cure you whisper free
Returns more perfect back to me
Songs of plagues and remedies
Composed in garden Melodies

Remember those who came for you?
Now mulch beneath the morning dew
Their essence feeds my growing art
Know you and I shall never part

You think you save them with your cures
But each secret whispered ensures
My next creation grows more strong
In a lovely never-ending song

and Every cure you whisper free
Returns more perfect back to me
Songs of plagues and remedies
Composed in garden Melodies

Through endless cycles we persist
Each plague a love note, sealed with bliss
With every pestilent serenade
Our love, through time, shall never fade

I've always liked the theory nurgles knows Isha is curing his brews. He lets it happen because it keeps the great game going

I'd love to hear Isha's side of this.
"You kill me a little more with every breath, every brew another little death."

is kinda beautiful seeing it thought nurgles perspective how the cures only force him to create more letal plagues and is like a dance or a kind of flirt between them concepts of life and dead

Of all the Chaos Gods, I find that Nurgle can be the most tempting. The urge to just lay down and rot instead of getting up and living is frighteningly convincing. Especially when life leaves you more and more tired everyday.

I officially request a Grandfather Nurgle album. Between this and Embrace the Rot, I've got several dozen hours of his songs played.

Evil Gods don't have other interests:
Meanwhile Nurgle is in love with his literally polar oppossite in the most wholesome way possible.

This is beautifully haunting, like Embrace The Rot, yet mixed with a sense of nostalgia and calmness. I can't quite put my finger on it, but its haunting regardless.

There was a story of how Isha's followers, or something similar, tried to rescue the goddess, but she refused to leave. It's because she needed to stay in order to tell her followers the next cure of Grandfather Nurgle's next batch of plagues. She would urge them to run, and they would try to take her, which would then lead to their deaths because they took too long.

In another story, Isha left with them, but Nurgle caught up at the edge of his territory and punished her by torturing said followers with his plagues and rot. Then tossed her into a gilded cage, as opposed to leaving her a small patch of his realm untouched by decay.

In both cases, she wept for those that tried to rescue her, but was still allowed to whisper to her remaining, and living, followers on how to combat his plagues. And this is why people pity Isha and despise Nurgle, but I love the Chaos God out of the others because of his twisted love. It's refreshing to my mind after delving too far into the darkness that is the 40k series.

"Remember those who came for you? Now mulch beneath the morning dew" Absolutely incredible, gave me goosebumps

I like the idea that Nurgle takes it as a romantic challenge to Isha curing his plagues. Like “oh my wife and her silly games”

Nurgle singing about his discord kitten after locking her in the piss drawer

I like to imagine that Nurgle truly doesn't understand the kind of torture he puts Isha through. As it there's a childish innocence in what he does. It's almost romantic.

Teenage unrequited love! That's what this is!

His love for her is just as big as his love for his devoted followers. Also great work as always.
