Petrol & Diesel Prices Cut: Senior Congress Leader P Chidambaram Lashes Out At Centre

The Centre on Saturday finally slashed excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 8 and Rs 6 per litre respectively. This will reduce the price of petrol by Rs 9.5 per litre and of diesel by Rs 7 per litre.

Didn't expected this from a learned person like him comparing 2 different figures of petroleum he's comparing a floater i.e petrol cost increase with static tax rates i.e Centax know doubt the government has a control on tax rates but you've the same person who deregulated the petroleum pricing which was a good step!
