He was my rackmate in MCT, funniest dude I've met. When I heard the news that he passed I was devestated. My prayers go out to his family. Rest In Peace brother.

Dear God! I feel for this family! The same scenario…We lost our boy in Iraq, 2004. He had just turned 18 and enlisted. He was killed covering his platoon as they were escaping an ambush. He was a hero! Time may heal the wound but the pain stays. We were and are still so proud of him!
God bless this family!

He passed at such a young age; but he WAS A MARINE; If he had deployed into harms way, I am most confident he would have proven his WARRIOR status in a very short time! To his family; God Bless You, and may God comfort you during this most difficult time. And most of all; Thank You for raising another one our most dedicated American Warriors!!! 🇺🇸

As a proud Vet 100 years ago back when the Army was unforgiving and lead by powerful men. I worked with the Marines when I came back to the states helping train them to transition to the M1 Tanks. I learned Marines are tough. Total respect. RIP young Marine God speed to you and yours. Way to young, way to healthy. This makes one ask many questions.

We have all seen numerous war movies like Private Ryan but there is one movie every patriot needs to watch. I have at least a half dozen times and never without tears in my eyes. Taking Chance is about something most folks don't know or even consider. How our fallen military men are respected after their death and how they are transported home.

From a now old veteran who was one of the last of the draftees. I am gutted by your loss. You did what most young men today can not & will not do. I am awed & honored by your selfless patriotism, and indebted to your family for their sacrifice. God be with them now. And I wish you peace...

As an Iraq/Afghanistan veteran my salute to you sir and thank you for doing what most people won’t. RIP and there’s good company waiting in the wings for us and some great conversations that I’m looking forward to myself.🫡🫡🫡🫡
To the family of this gentleman and fellow service member, thank you so much for giving us this fine individual and specimen of a man for others to look up to and follow in his footsteps. I truly am sorry for your loss and my heart and prayers are with you all

This brings tears to my eyes.

For those that don’t know: A promotion on the 2nd day of the month means a meritorious promotion in the Marine Corps only given to very few who stand out above the rest. Versus a normal promotion given on the first of the month. He was promoted March 2nd. Oohrah Devil Dog!! Thank you for your service. 😢

My brother was a marine too I know the Marines hymn! From the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we will fight our country's battles on land and on the sea, first to fight for rights and freedom and to keep our honor clean, we are proud to claim the title the United States Marine! Once a marine, always a Marine! God bless you all!
