200 Mile day into the Idaho WILDERNESS | Part 3 RMATVMC Idaho Motorcycle Adventure Ride

Показать описание
The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Idaho Adventure Tour builds off the famous 1,250 mile Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route but has been modified to a loop ride instead of the standard out and back route and showcases some of the best ADV riding in the state. After weeks of studying maps and combing through different routes, we've come up with a breathtaking ride that snakes 1,400 miles through the heart of four Idaho National Forest areas, historical landmarks and towns that are sure to impress even the most seasoned adventure rider.

As part of our RM Rides series, we’ve documented the ride and put it together in a video series and companion blog post, making it easy for you to plan your own Idaho adventure ride. We’ve provided the GPS files below so you can follow our same route.

Here's a tip for large pieces of firewood. Find two trees that are fairly substantial and close together. Stick the end of the wood you're trying to break in between the trees and start walking. It works like a charm. Easy way to break large pieces.

Love the series!

I ran into a similar group of model T and classic cars in McCarthy Alaska doing the same thing while on and adv trip! They were along ways from anywhere traveling on unpaved roads.✌️🛵

Great little log vid guys.
Two things that made me chuckle: “I just thought Idaho was flat and potato farms” and the fact that none of you are on a GS. Man it would’ve made that ride 5x more fun AND comfortable.
Fun fact: the largest wilderness (mountains and forest) in the continental US (outside Alaska) is the Frank Church wilderness in Idaho. I never thought Utahns would have such a limited knowledge of probably the most beautiful, mountainous state in the western US!

If you don’t have double take mirrors and a beer gut are you really an adventure rider?

A buddy and I rode the Co. Bdr. Cut through Utah. Then rode the Idaho BDR up to the Canadian border back through the back roads of Montana through Wyoming back through CO. Back to the trucks in Dumas TX. Where we started from 5K + total Last August. Idaho is freaking awesome! Loved the remoteness of riding it. The Magruder corridor was fantastic! Would do it again if my arm got twisted pretty hard. We even met a street bike along the Magruder corridor..
