Thank you. The "Start Debugging" option does not work for me because it won't show "Kotlin" as an option despite having installed the extension. But the right-click-option "Run Code" works and also shows the shell commands for running it. But unfortunately, this will only work for single files and not projects with uninstalled dependencies, gradle or maven. At least, it won't work for my maven project when I run the Main.kt with the code runner.

Thanks so much for this! I was trying to get VSC to compile my little printli() command and I kept getting errors. Apparently I was missing the Kotlin IDE extension. Which, thinking about it now makes sense why it wasn't working hahaha. Thanks again!
