* 1-4 tsp MSM powder ***
Buy it here:

*7-10 drops pure rosemary essential oil

*7-10 drops pure tea tree essential oil

Brown glass dropper bottles (for application)

💕 Notes:
* Although henna can have a tinting effect on hair when used in certain water-based preparations, it will not colour the hair when used in an oil based substance. However, always do a strand test first. If you would rather avoid henna, sub it with cassia.
* Amla can potentially have a darkening effect on hair, but usually only in much stronger concentrations than this recipe contains. Strand test to be sure!
* Freshly ground fenugreek seeds are most effective. I have an inexpensive coffee grinder linked on my "Hair Products I Recommend" page on my Linktree.
* If you are new to MSM or essential oils, use less to begin with. You can always add more later!

Oiling is one of the self-care habits that is practiced and taught to the younger generation in India. Literally everyone oil their hair in India. Despite it being a hot country for the majority.
It's not just a hair care tip for us, mothers oiling hair is an emotion. It makes me happy and feels like home every time I oil my hair after moving out.

Not forgotten in India. We have been doing this for 1000s of years, this is what we apply on our hair. Fenugreek, coconut oil, castor oil, neem oil, hibiscus flowers and more such oils and herbs...

I'm 61 and have thick thigh length hair, I've always had thick long hair, thanks mum, but only to my waist. I had to start taking 1000mg a day of B12 for medical reasons, and suddenly my hair started growing. This surprised a lot if people my age as they had been told over 50 it was hard to grow your hair long, thick and strong. So I've put it down to the B12. My husband has a bald patch at the top of his head and he started taking biotin and the har is actually growing back there and is about 1½ inches long now.

In eastern world 🌎, oiling is still practiced. I am from Pakistan 🇵🇰and we still use oils for scalp and body massage.😌

Scalp oil is forgotten in western cultures, mostly, in other cultures we use scalp oil always, especially, before you wash your hair

Hair oiling has only been forgotten in some cultures. Because some cultures have tight or kinky hair that does not get oily.( basically dry hair)
They need ro add said oils to their hair root and shaft about every 3 days to prevent breakage and improve or retain moisture. This oiling is not washed out until wash day every 1-2 weeks. Believe it or not the hair does not smell
