Circulatory Health for All: Investing to reach UHC prevent pandemics

On September 20, the Global Coalition for Circulatory Health organized a side event during the High level UNGA 78, from AHA headquarters.

Addressing circulatory diseases and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs) is a crucial element for building accessible, resilient health systems, particularly given their proven impact on infectious outbreaks. Including NCD “Best Buy” measures like tobacco taxation in Universal Health Coverage (UHC) country packages is an essential element of a comprehensive strategy to build strong post-pandemic societies with access to health coverage for all.
