Create an (Animated) Highlighter effect - Premiere Pro Tutorial

In this video I show you how to create a highlight, or highlighter, effect using adobe premiere pro cc. The first step is to create a new color matte layer with the highlight color of your choice. Next, drag it to the timeline and reduce the size and scale as necessary. Now change the blend mode to darken, and move the anchor point to the far left of the color matte. Finally, unlink the scale properties (width and height separate) and animate the width over time.
