Today I’m sampling the deeply odd Marshmallow Fluff. Is it a dessert topping? Is it a dessert itself? And do people really use this on sandwiches? Watch and find out!

Marshmallow Fluff is far superior to normal marshmallows when it comes to hot cocoa. It still floats on top but gives off more of it's marshmallow flavor with each sip.

I lived in america, most of my life, growing up we used it on peanut butter sandwiches. So yeah people do use it on sandwiches.

We use fluff for all those things--cake fillings, sandwiching cookies, and the fluffer nutter sandwich. The fluffed nutter is less a sandwich and more a treat. Kind of like fairy bread in your part of the world.

Fluffernutter's pretty much a New England thing. It's weird. Here in the midwest, I've only seen it as a dessert ingredient.

You have to make the FlufferNutter Sandwich!

2 slices soft white bread (like Wonder Bread)
Smooth peanut butter
Marshmallow Fluff

Spread one slice of bread with peanut butter. Spread the other slice with Marshmallow Fluff. Close bread slices with the peanut butter the Fluff sides touching.

DELISH!!!

That was my favorite sandwich as a child peanut butter and fluff sandwich and I still love it 😍

peanut butter and marshmallow fluff is great. the flavor combination is excellent. Use white bread though, no sense wasting healthy bread on this, obviously. Toasted bread adds to it, because of the added texture. Not a daily sandwich but definitely something worth eating once in a while.

Oh my, I can't believe everyone doesn't know about Fluff!! The Fluffernutter is to die for, it is wonderful when you put a spoon of it in hot chocolate and it makes homemade fudge smooth and silky-melt-in-your-mouth amazing! It is only weird to those who have not tried it!! :)

fluffernutter sandwiches were all the rage growing up, still are....give it a try! It's quite good in small does with the peanut butter. Similar concept if you use it as a cream between two cookies its just between bread with layer of peanut butter

growing up this was a special treat my father would give us. I haven't had it in years but the memories are flooding in

It's really just a sweet condiment or dessert ingredient - adding it to a recipe mix to add sweetness or creaminess to a batter, make Rice Krispy treats, etcetc, or on top/middle of desserts/snacks (cookies, graham crackers, brownies, yaddayadda). Not meant to be eaten on it's own.
It's actually not bad with peanut butter, but it turns it into a sweet sandwich snack more than a lunch... lol

I'm from new england where I believe (if im wrong dont stone me) fluff comes from, and it is eaten on sandwiches, especially as a sweet lunch for kids or something. I dont think the rest of the U.S eats fluff in a similar way.

You can buy this in Germany, too. When i was a child, me and my sister bothered our mother to buy it for us. Even in my childhood that was too much sugar for my taste xD

Sometimes you just get a taste for the Fluff & Peanut Butter on white toast, if a banana is handy slice that up and add to it. I may eat 2 of these during the year. I use the rest in Hot Chocolate, melt it for Ice Cream topping or a decoration on baked things
