HUD 184 Native American Loan Enhancements for 2023

HUD 184 is on a roll this year 🎉

They recently raised their loan limits from $420,680 up to $472,030, increasing the buying power for qualifiers!

Now the best part... Effective July 1 - HUD 184 is reducing their one time upfront mortgage insurance guarantee fee from 1.5% of the loan amount all the way down to 1%. The yearly fee which is broken down into monthly PMI has went from .25% to 0%. That’s right. ZERO%.

These are the most exciting changes to this loan program in years!! This gives buyers a lower payment, a lower loan amount, and higher loan limit options than ever before with a HUD 184 loan. Not to mention, we can pair this loan with downpayment assistance from their tribe if the borrower qualifies for that as well! It’s always been good but now it’s GREAT!!

A friend of mine said her mom told her that she is technically Cherokee, but that her she never got her card because their was a mix up with a recent ancestor like her grandma or great grandma or something. I call BS!! Can you point me in the right direction to help her in reclaiming whats hers?
