Just got the first Tigrex mission in Iceborne.
I was like "Tigrex old friend! Let's do the old dance" and the new Tigrex proceeded to cart me twice.
It is not very hard, but your muscle memory will betray you a bit if you're an old Hunter.

Ahh, the memories. Despite being a Hammer main in Freedom Unite, I had to switch to Greatsword and use najiaoo's(sp?) guide to get past Tigrex.

Tigrex to me has been a testament to monsters in the series.
In the old days a lot of monsters had similar body types and designs due to the series yet to take off and limited budget.
So CAPCOM put more details and emphasis on the Monster's behavior which set them apart.
