The fact amoled screen saves up battery, is because those black pixels don't consume battery

Holy shit. With only a 4500mah battery and 120hz mode such an amazing result. F3 is the real beast.

Hey darius a suggestion for you: Your thumbnails look a lot like fake review channels what I mean is they will have the phone in the thumbnail but not in the video. So I avoid thoose videos. But I have been unintencinally avoiding your vids as well. So maybe changing the thumbnails slightly will help? I think there are other people like me so I just wanted to point it out

The relationship between battery drain and fast charging in the F3 is absolutely incredible

To be honest, your battery life tests are the most realistic out there.. The standby time for me is the most crucial because no one uses phone from 100 percent to 0 without a break.. Kudos to you for this and now I will watch battery test only from you

When I see the F3 I think, good battery, but could be above 5000. But now I guess that the 4520 did just well

I wasn't expecting that battery life from poco F3 wow

The winner is the phone recording time
Being able to record it all😁

Well done Darius hands down the best battery drain test on YouTube I have been searching so many tests and none of them show actually use case scenarios like you do for example the zoom call. Thank you very much and keep up the great work.👍🙏

That standby time drain is so good. But I mostly don't have a problem with standby time battery drainage on any of my phone except when I use custom ROM with buggy Kernel. I don't know why many reviewers talk as if Android in general has problem with standby battery drain, I don't think iPhone can perform any better regarding that standby.

I'm using X3 since December without any problems. Its the best phone with best camera I ever had though I was a hardcore fan of Sony but I couldn't resist Xioami X3 and it changed my perspective on Chinese phones. Also I was going nfor F3 but I realize I need 5000+ mAh battery as I only charge once a day for 30 min and use the phones for hours without having a thought about battery and also need a 3.5mm jack for games. For gamers its X3 or X3 pro and for normal users its F3.

Glad you all like the battery test!

Btw what other videos would you like to see on Poco F3 and X3 Pro?

Like the video :).

Anybody not with a Poco f3 the battery is indeed non linear. 100% - 99% lasts a while (the last time I fully charged and as shown in the video 40mims or so) and prior to this anything above around 80% drains a little slower or it did. Had half a percent drain overnight on miui 12.5.8 but now varies on miui 13 and is not as good. Drains a lot more like 10% overnight sometimes not huge but much more. Other nights it's less. Don't understand at all.

Generally I was trying to charge to 80% Max but more comfortable between 40 and 75% if at home. Reason being the voltage is high at full charge so I try and avoid the battery stress.
20-80 is more acceptable.

The worst thing is if it dies and that's why there is phone shut off protection.

However I did get a bit obsessed and after a few settings Tweaks got about 4.5% per hour at home with low brightness.

Then charged it up with original lead very slowly (TV USB port) and have not got below around 6.5% per hour since in dark mode just browsing the Web at 60hz. Accubattery showed a drop of 90 minutes SOT after slow charging that one time with 3% health drop from battery guru.

I'm gutted as I wanted to protect the battery not ruin it but fear the low current may have caused mini cycles ie. Not charging faster than the discharge rate, then being topped off a bit like I was trying to avoid at top end near 100%

I have been slow (not that slow though) charging as it is supposed to be better for the battery producing less heat as with a case it was reaching 42 degrees with 33w fast charger.

I probably shouldn't have bothered worrying but love the phone so wanted to keep it for years.
Miui 13 is not optimised for battery life as I have messaged Xiaomi. Stay on 12.5.8.

Call quality isn't the best though but acceptable. Loud speaker is decent and I have had the proximity issue sometimes when in call but read it may be my phone case but don't know how (Nilkin Camshield is an excellent fit)
Why do no reviews mention the call quality?

Tbh I don't think the screen is much better than ips lcd except the obvious battery savings I've been worrying about burn in instead. Screen protector was a must for me and saved me once already. Paid £200 for Arctic white 256/8 but may as well get the 128/6 as not more than 50% ram is used before tasks are killed.

Overall a big upgrade bar call quality and vibration/notification issues sometimes.
I think I'd buy another but 100% would keep it on miui 12.5 until the optimisations. Probably wouldn't mess with as many settings.
I will say the background process limit and animation scale trick is good but not currently using as its quick enough as it is.
Also modem and reception are quick. On a 600mb connection and get up to 540 over WiFi with 3re party router. I think these are important considerations too if one needs that speed

No matter what era the phone is, subway Surfers will always be the choice of game to be tested on xD

Wow. And I almost went with the X3 Pro just for the larger battery. Will probably go for the F3 now, although I really don't like losing the micro SD slot

Guys, I have the f3 (great phone, I seriously love it) and with regular use it lasts, but I also noticed that when gaming the phones battery drains significantly faster (and it does get hot pretty quickly, not because it can't handle stuff and it isn't uncomfortable, but it got to 44 degrees Celsius while playing a pretty simple game after 15 minutes)

i have had to replace my trusty Galaxy Note 8 as its getting on a bit and took the plunge on the Poco F3 8/256GB,
its reassuring to know it can charge up so fast so well done to Darius on this video. Poco F3 looks like a beast for the money they cost

Was nice to see you!

The Poco F3 is a beast. Sadly it has no headphones jack and no IP class for water and dust.
