Plant the Seeds: Opportunities to Grow Southern Ontario's Fruit & Vegetable Sector

In this interactive webinar, the Greenbelt Foundation and John Groenewegen share learnings from a project we recently completed on the opportunities for growth in the fruit and vegetable sector in southern Ontario. We present findings on the opportunities and constraints for expanding 6 crops - fresh grapes, pears, strawberries, garlic, eggplant, sweet potatoes - as well as vertical farming. We also discuss recommendations for actions that can be taken across the value chain to support expansion of the sector.
