This footage was shot at Capel Military show last year during July 2023.

I am amazed at the quality of your impressions. I could not spot any anachronisms. Even down to the manner in which the soldier held his cigarette like the German soldiers I have seen in so many photos over the years. This is the most accurate portrayal of German soldiers of WW2 that I have seen yet!

Great to see detail in living history. The mortar and G43 were amazing. Having collected for 40 years it's good to see how the kit would've looked on soldiers back in the day. Excellent stuff but hope the coffee wasn't ersatz😮

Very cool!!! I was especially interested in seeing the backpack for carrying food. I've only ever seen those packs in movies and certainly never up close and open/being filled.

My cousin introduced me to my unit and this was always the part he loved, sitting around and just living like they did all those years ago. After he passed our unit gave him a ceremony with full honors.
