I honestly want a Slipknot experimental album which is just songs like My Pain, with some darker ambient stuff

Some people act like Tattered & Torn, Skin Ticket, Iowa title track, The Virus of Life, Danger Keep Away, Scissors don't exist. Slipknot always had songs that were weird, experimental and loosely structured so to speak. Maybe they got fame for singles such as Wait and Bleed and Spit It Out. But their experimentation kept them going and this is how they evolve. Have we been listening to same Slipknot?

What slipknot is good at is bringing the crowd of listeners up and down with calm and disruption in a song. This is a good sick and twisted lil love/lullaby. It’s quite interesting to me because it’s ABSTRACT

People who understand music circa 2019 know that for this band to make this song and spiders on their album is a HUGE step in progression. This whole album has an industrial, ambient dark cloud that looms over it. It is completely cohesive throughout. The songwriting is interesting, not radio friendly(minus unsainted) but even that track feels earned amongst the 13 others that take your mind to different places. As someone who was not expecting much from this record, as I feel they have been on a downward slope post Vol. 3 this is just amazing to hear. I think they have matured as a sound and have found a great balance between guttural riffs and these ambient/electronic/industrial elements. Only fools will say this song is bad, those are the types of people that download the "radio hits" from artists and not full albums, the way music is intended to be listened to. Each song is a banger and belongs on this record, but here are my favorites:
1. Spiders (most surprising and well-thought out experimental track)
2. Birth of the Cruel(I mean common, that bass is nasty)
3. My Pain(transcends a slipknot idea for a ballad)
4. Nero Forte
5. Solway Firth
