I will never understand why strangle risk explanation always assumed you were going to hold them until they expire. This is an extremely unlikely scenario where you were throwing away money due to the time premium. If you don’t allow the time to expire the V would be much tighter and the movement in the stock would not need to be is huge

How does one start a strangle?. All I see is a bunch of numbers and scenarios. How does one start the trade. What does one buy. A put, a call or what combo and how deep or out of the money?. From this video as a beginner I learned zero.
