I remember the "pre-diversity" days when you could walk through the streets of Amsterdam without seeing rubbish lying around everywhere. The good ole' days before there was a necessity for signs telling people that they will be fined for pissing in the street.

I heard about Amsterdam a lot, wanted to visit since 2010, and when I did - I was negatively surprised because it became just overhyped western capital full of brainless consumers. Real amsterdamers is a rare phenomena nowadays. Maybe in 90's and 80's it had some unique spirit, but now it has uncomfortable vibe, even for smoking weed.
