I never miss the hole either. I go halfway through, then finish it from the other side. Works every time

I’m usually a good aim at hitting the hole straight on… just better when the lights are off for some reason.

I can tell you from experience that I miss the hole almost every damn time. At least that's what my wife keeps telling me at the end of the day. Not sure why she cares so much about construction, but she's very passionate.

99% of construction workers can not drill a straight hole. Especially 2 in a row .I'd be willing to bet there was a nice pilot hole

easy, drill in half way from one side then join it from the other, team it straight.
This halves the error.

He's got a _pretty good_ eye. I was an alignment mechanic for years and I could spot a tire that was 1/2 degree off zero camber.
