Nice video, I dont think vertical photo support is needed. Just shoot 4:3 and crop. A firmware update will just crop the sensor anyway. If you use the grid lines and frame properly you’ll be fine.

The 70mm camera is a game changer. I was seriously considering adding the Mavic 3 Pro to my drone "hanger" not for the 144mm camera, but for the 70mm one. The only thing holding me back was the price. I just could not justify that price for the drone and fly more kit as a serious hobbyist; at half the price the Air 3 is more than worth the amount paid. I also have to give DJI for adding many of the new features that appeared in the Mavic 3 Pro & Mini 4 Pro to the Air 3. This makes it an even greater value. Thank you for putting out this follow-up video on such a great piece of hardware.

Hi got my air 3 two weeks ago fantastic drone. Bought you cheat sheets they are great. Quick question as can't see on sheets do you have white balance on auto or locked in. In pro mode? Cheers

My take on the current drone offerings ( if you're a photographer and/or videographer):
For traveling, by all means, get the Mini 4 Pro. The Mini 3 Pro will also give great performance for a tighter budget.
For average/hobby: The Air 3 is currently the mid-tear flagship.
For yet a more professional demand: The Mavic 3 Pro is your dear friend, and if you're not in a hurry, wait for the Mavic 4 Pro, which will probably be an amazing drone, and an expensive one too..

I honestly can't believe how long the batteries last in this thing. 35+ is real and I almost run out of things to do with it in the air for such a long time.3X Tele-Hyperlapse videos are my favorite!

The Air 3 is one of the best drones that I have owned. I also have the Mini 4 Pro and its a great drone as well but that great in windy conditions along the coast.

I have brought this air3 and im a beginner flyer and i must say its so easy to use. As we llive on a large acreage i love capturing landscape, cattle, tractor work as well as checking fences, water troughs and pigs for hunting. Am wanting to ask about retrieving my videos on computer. I do however have a old laptop and finding that the play back is well non existent. What would i need to actually see what i video. Some guidance would help a lot. A link for nd filters would help as well. Btw i watch all your videos, keep up the good work. ❤

Thanks so much for all your efforts in putting your videos together!! My concern about the AIR 3; nighttime flying!! Recently, while flying at night the AIR 3 was amazing not a problem!! The drone returned to home because of "low" battery! Upon replacing the battery the drone took off as normal then decided to head to the Gulf of New Mexico; 1500 miles away! Suggestion: a video on nighttime flying; Please!!

There's no need for vertical photo support as the full sensor is read when capturing still images in 4:3... so if you want vertical photo, you just crop in post. For video it makes sense because the sensor isn't fully read when using the 16:9 ratio.

Great reviews - i was about to purchase the Mini pro 4 until i saw this video and your comparison review between the air 3 and the mini pro 4. I purchased the Air 3 - based on your comparison video and summary. After using the Air 3 i couldn't agree more with your summary. This is a fantastic drone!

Hi, congratulations for what you do..!! I'm undecided between the DJI Air 3 and the Mavic 3 Pro for professional use. The thing that stops me is the M dlog of the Air 3 compared to the Vlog of the Mavic 3 Pro. Is there much difference when working with the file in post...? Thank you.

I'm planning on picking one up during Amazon Prime Day. I don't know that it will be reduced but I can wait 3 days. 😉

I don't get why the vertical crop is bothering everyone so much. Vertical is for social media only and with the content usually being viewed on a phone "needing " 4k there doesn't truly seem like a priority. I do any crops on my software anyway so it's not really an issue when needed.
