My new album "One More !!?!??" is out TODAY and on the title track, I have managed to gather two of the most talented musicians on earth : Jordan Rudess, keyboardist of Dream Theater, and Larnell Lewis, drummer of Snarky Puppy...here's the story of how it happened.

Hey Mathieu, love your stuff! Like a lot of drummers, I discovered you through Larnell's version of Chick's Pain and was blown away. Such an incredible song. Then somehow you topped it with Larnell AND Jordan on One More! I've been a huge DT fan for years and it's amazing to see him outside of that context.

Larnell's drum cover made a huge impression on me, I'm no musician so I was simply moved by chick's pain and the cover and hoped you'd get to play with him one day. (Then I forgot 😅) I'm glad you managed to make that happen!

Hey Mathieu, I love your music, wow! I just wanted to mention something to your audience as I don't think you mentioned it in your video...Anyone can get any musician to play on their music. The secret is money!! If you pay them they will come!! Thats what being a professional musician is all about!! Of course the rates we charge depends on the music and the people involved but please, I think its important for your non professional musician fans to understand is that you paid Larnell and Jordan to perform on your album! This is not a bad thing! This is a very very good thing!! I want your audience to know that the music biz is EXTREAMLY DIFFICULT to make a living as a pure musician nowadays. The sources of income for music creators are a fraction of what they once were back before napster and digital file sharing. It takes dedicated, determined and most importantly talented and brave people like YOU Mathieu that are in the digital world creating amazing music and providing a source of work for pro musicians...I applaud you and wish you all the luck and opportunity that you could possibly ever have!!!
