Before Madonna, Before GaGA, there was Dale Bozio. She was so incredibly unique in her style, presentation and vocal expression. MP had excellent musicians behind her to make the band as incredible as they were. Ahhhh the 80’s. ❤always to Dale Bozio and Missing Persons.

I got to meet Dale in the late 90’s. We ended up chatting for a few hours at a pizza place in Sacramento Ca. I was and still am a huge fan so I was a nervous wreck when I met her, but she was so sweet and gracious, it didn’t take long for her to make me feel at ease. She talked to me about her life, her kids and the promise she made to her friend Frank Zappa to never stop making music. Thank you Dale for keeping your promise, the world is better off because of it. Dale is and always will be a LEGEND.

"Everything you put into your life manifests to give you the answers why you're here" (Dale Bozzio). One of the DEEPEST things I've ever heard. And she has given a few of them.

This was my favorite Missing Persons song I used to blast this out of the car way back when. They don’t make music like that anymore. The cutting edge of alternative/punk rock in the day. Loved it thanks for posting this.

I saw them way back in the day at the 83 Us festival. Today they are one of my 80's guilty pleasures I play in the car. Even without Terry she's/they sound great.

I saw Missing Persons at the US festival 83. A buddy and I rode from S. Idaho to the show on a Honda Shadow, trading off on who was holding onto the handlebars. Went for Metal day but, dug the Divinyls, Missing Persons and most of all INXS. My buddy and I split way before we had to subjected to the “country & western”. Great time and I was thoroughly beaten up by that weekend. 🤘🤘🤘

Amazing to see Dale, still doing her thing . . . MP was so unique and ahead of their time.

Missing Persons will forever be one of my all-time favorite New Wave '80s bands! I have all their albums and often listen to them. Btw, this woman's body was fkin' killer in the 80's, and no, I do NOT mind admitting that lol! Impeccable style, too. Goodness, I adore MP!

I don't know anyone who could hit those notes she could, no one has ever had her unique style or ever will, when you hear Missing Persons you know instantly

Her introduction blew my mind. I had no clue this song was so personal & philosophical at the same time. I wish more artists would take the time to explain their songs because sometimes the meaning goes right over our heads. This song just became 100x awesomer.
