It's not biryani. It's called 'Chicken Polaw.' There's a huge difference between biryani and polaw. You started with the wrong dish—no one has polaw in the morning. I’m sure you got leftovers from the day before. Get a guide, or you’ll end up with everything wrong. You're saying one thing, they’re telling you something else, and you're getting something completely different.

Dhaka is very hectic. Check out Gulshan area. Sylhet is more chilled and you’ll find more genuine people.

Welcome, and I hope you enjoy your time in Bangladesh. Try to visit other beautiful divisions of Bangladesh, such as Sajek Valley in Chittagong, Sylhet, etc. All the best, bro.

Itinerary for Old Dhaka:

1. Visit Lal Bagh Fort in the morning
2. Have Lunch at Emran's Heritage home (you have to book in advance through Facebook or Instagram)
3. Visit Akhsan Mazil after lunch
4. Explore Safarghat port and Buriganga river
5. Go to Nazira Bazar for dinner/street food (like Bismillah Kabab, Hazi Biryani, Beauty Lassi, Agun Paan, etc.)

Friday is good day to visit as traffic is less hectic there. Just keep in mind that Ahsan Manzill is closed till the afternoon on Fridays, so visit Lal Bagh fort first. You can also explore the Dhaka university area on your way to Old Dhaka.

Brother heartily welcome to Bangladesh but you are in noisy & crowdy side of Dhaka. U should be in Gulshan or Banani area of Dhaka which are quit tranquil & better.
Also you should pay a visit to Chittagong & sylhet where many tourist spots are located.Obviously pay a visit to Cox’s bazar the longest sea beach in the world & saint martins island located in Chittagong.

Hey Sam, just stumbled on your vid and i like that the fact that you just randomly exploring BD. Most ppl are friendly and genuine but obviously you get scammers with the tourist tax and they try with all tourist including me lol and I'm British Bengali. BTW the outfit your looking for is called Fanjabi and basic plain quality one between 700 tk -1000tk but a more fancier one about between 2000 tk -4000 tk. Any questions just ask

Bro you should check modern parts of Dhaka like Gulshan Banani Baridhara, Bashundhara Uttara, dia Bari & few other places & it’s completely opposite area you’ve visited are super crowded with people & bazar ( markets) but those areas are upscale with modern & clean establishment of restaurants, cafes, hotels, roof-top dining etc outside Dhaka lies the real Bangladesh, places like cox bazar, Chittagong hill tracts, Saint Martin’s Island 🏝️ Sunderbans mangrove forest, Sylhet Division, Rajshahi & Rangpur Division: famous for archaeological sites. Totally this country has over 1300 tourist sites to explore. Enjoy rest of ur itinerary in Bangladesh ❤

you should visit rajshahi. it's quite opposite of dhaka. less population, fresh air, less traffic and more peace. just take the train banalata express from dhaka to rajshahi. it takes 5 hours only.

Actually bro it's like a custom here in Bangladesh to bargain while buying anything.. Here everyone looks for a higher price for anything, , It has to be reduced by negotiation, , They seek more money from us common Bangladeshis, , stay safe and wish for a nice trip
