Rope Soloing- Wild Country Revo 200 lb. Drop Test on lead climbing Dynamic System
Показать описание
Details on every step I perform here. I weigh the bag, then haul the bag with a three point hauling system above 14 feet above the ground. I pulled the rope with the Revo tight which was about a foot or two above the last piece of gear. I then had to weight the haul rope with a jumar so I could wrap the rope around an eye bolt on the climbing wall. I then pulled off all the gear on the haul rope which was connected to a pulley at the top so no drag on the haul rope should occur during the drop. I then gave a count down and pulled the rope off the eye bolt and the 200 lb. bag dropped and the Revo caught about 6 inches from the ground. I estimate that Revo only slipped 2-3 feet before catching successful. 14 foot starting point, 2 foot from last piece, so 4 foot fall and haul bag is about 5 to 6 foot high with the haulbag strap. So 14 feet minus about 11 foot (5-6 foot for haulbag, 4 foot fall, and less then a foot from ground) is about 2-3 feet of slippage from the Wild Country Revo.
