The Touch - Stan Bush (HD Restoration)

My daughter and I have been watching this music video a lot on YouTube. Unfortunately the only version of it online is a 320x240 tape transfer.
I decided to restore the video using HD footage from the movie's Blu-ray. I reassembled the footage cut by cut. I got most of it... I am missing a few obscure shots that were not in the movie.

Optimus Prime = Most iconic hero ever. That's anyone who is 40+ today and saw this in the theaters is not ashamed to admit they cried when he died.

I lost my dad recently and this was our favorite movie to watch together. His name was Daniel, and he called me Hot Rod all the time. He really loved this song specifically, and would always sing along really loud. I could tell he was directing the message to me. This song will always make me smile.

To whoever disliked this, they must be stopped! No matter the cost.

Optimus Prime rolling into Autobot City to turn the tide has to be one of the greatest heroic moments in Transformers and cinema history.

And ironically, after ALL this time, it's still the best Transformers

As a 42 year old kid, I'm proud to admit this song combined with Optimus dying can make me cry like a baby, and I do it with joy in my heart!

Transformers helped this girl as a teenager back in 2007 starting to come out of my shell to become a nerd and now at Medical school. Thank you Transformers.

The spirit of the 1980s summed up in a single song.

There's FOUR guitars playing at one time. Understanding how conplex this song is, is mind boggling

Optimus Prime’s entrance and turning the tide for The Autobots, his final stand against Megatron and The Deception is badass, chilling and downright heroic. Even 40 years later it’s still one of the most heroic moments in cinematic history, although his death was and is still shocking and heartbreaking it was very honourable and gave The Autobots a chance at victory.

Take it from an 80's kid. The 80's was the greatest time to be a kid 🙂 I have nothing but the best memories ❤️

You've got the touch, you've got the power.
Yeah.

After all is said and done, you never walk,
you never run, you're a winner.
You got the moves, you know the streets,
break the rules, take the heat, you're nobody's fool.
You're at your best when the going gets rough,
You've been put to the test but it's never enough.

You got the the touch, you got the power.
When all hell's breaking loose,
you'll be right in the eye of the storm.
You got the heart, you got the motion.
You know that when things get too tough,
you got the touch.

You never bend, you never break, you seem to know
just what it takes. You're a fighter
It's in the blood, it's in the will, it's in the mighty
hands of steel. When you're standin your ground.
And you never *give in* when you're back's to the wall
gonna fight till the end and you're taking it all.

You got the touch, you got the power,
when all hell's breaking loose,
you'll be right in the eye of the storm.
You got the heart, you got the motion.
You know that when things get too tough, you got the touch.

You're fighting fire with fire.
You know you got the touch.

You're at your best when the going gets rough,
you've been put to the test but it's never enough.
You got the touch, you got the power.
Yeah. Writer/s: LENNY MACALUSO, STANLEY M BUSH
