Somehow awful that they didn’t even let Hezly compete even once. I totally get it, the routines of the veterans score higher, but I really think the US should reconsider the way they choose Olympic or world teams. A good all-arounder without any chances of making an individual event final just isn’t the right choice imho. Don’t get me wrong, Hezly is an amazing talent and I'm sure we’ll see her winning international medals in the future, but it doesn’t feel right to bring an athlete to the team final without letting her do anything. It was just a bit too early.
