That’s exactly what moms with littles need. A grandma that’s there for them but also knows when it’s time for them to handle things on their own. Hope everyone is on the mend soon.

Great stitching. Glad Ozzie and her Mom are doing better. It's so scary when they are so little and get sick. 💜

Beautiful stitching. You are a wonderful grandma! My mother stuck herself into everything between my husband and me. She also jumped into everything about my son. We were not allowed to be the Little family at all. I applaud you as a grandma. Have a terrific week . You make my day every Tuesday.

Janet, I think you did the smart thing with the mini crisis with baby Ozzie. It will make Lizzie and Colton stronger and grow closer together. Your husband stepping in to make chicken noodle soup for the whole family was awesome. Love your featured friend (Chrissy) design of Winter Garden. I love winter patterns. I think your spring queen will be done by summer the rate you are going. Love all your stitching, especially the "oh sweet pea." I had to order it after seeing it because I love that flower. I also love how Wilber is shaping up. I also love the new start you are doing Ozzie. It is going to be so cute. Toodles for now.

Oh how I'd dread it when the babies got sick! I'm so glad Ozzie's wasn't serious and that it was short lived. Your stitching is looking beautiful as always😊. Glad you're sticking with Wilbur, and the queen looks great!

You 100% did the right thing! Trust me, they will let you know if they need any help or advice. As a new grandma myself, I know how hard it is to stand back and let them be the parents.

Thanks Janet. Sounds like a great week. Sure hope I can get to some stitching with our trips to the lake every weekend now I try to pack when I can something to work on. So glad Ozzie is doing better.

How fortunate your kids are to have you and your husband ready to help but understanding your role vs theirs and letting them grow their relationship and family. They can have the security of knowing you are there for them but also that they can handle this. Glad to hear both Lizzie and Ozzie are feeling better. Wilbur! Spring Queen! So much visual goodness. Thanks for sharing!

It is so important to do what you did... my kids are stronger & able to deal with emergencies as they happen with more confidence. I have friends that are still sticking their nose in & have made it where the kids (adults in their 30's now) can't do the simplest of things!!! I have loved watching your stitching journey as well as your life journey!!!

Wise decision to allow them to handle things. So proud that you are giving them support by allowing them space. Not easy to do, so standing ovation. Big hugs ✨
