This is the exact sitiation for me
I'm almost 17 years old
I was on my warrior mentality last summer training 6 hours a day, my main goal were boxing and running but also did swimming, body building. Just like to prepare for navy seal training.
My knee got injured 8 months ago while running and been to three different doctors by now. Still working on it and doing both physiotherapy and strengthening excercises at home.
Yet haven't give up because at the end of the day you're alone in this world and the only person that is gonna feel bad if you don't make it is you.

No, you do not let the old person who was once in your mind and body, (not spiritually, quite literally. You were that person before yes.) you let it become who you are today. You embrace, thank yourself that you went through hardships, with others, with yourself, with family and friends. You forgive yourself, show gratitude, in order to move on- which is being able to say this isn't worth the pain of whatever it is. Not forgetting them/it. In order to truly appreciate what happened you have to move on from the past(past mistakes of you, others and family/friends.) embrace it! Let it be your fire to not do it again. Don't fall into old habits. DO NOT LET IT DIE! It made YOU! Have that courage to let the pain in from it, have the courage to forgive yourself!

People who use the idea of competition to motivate others, but to do so they have to use cooperation to achieve such things in the first place. Even organised crime takes a large amount of cooperation to achieve. if your being motivated to compete 9 times out of 10 its for someone else's benefit not yours.

Comparison can be destructive. The world is rough and mean. As Jordan Peterson said, "the world is against you . . . obviously." But as I told my own subscribers, many times the greatest enemy in life can be yourself. And you make yourself an enemy by comparision to others. If you make 80K a year and have 200K in the investment arenas you will feel badly if you have a friend who makes 250K and has a million in his. But you will feel good about yourself if you compare yourself to someone who makes 30K and has nothing in his accounts. But maybe that 250K person works 80 hours a week and hasn't had a vacation in ten years. The point is, your journey is yours. How much you want to work and gain to get the greatest benefits you can from your short time on earth---and most of those benefits, my friends, are not financial. Hope this helps someone----Charles

Is education the measure of intelligence? if you believe the answer is yes, maybe we should have a star trek style prime directive here. Either we pull the less educated up by ensuring everyone is at the same level, or everyone on earth gets led in a direction only a small percentage of the population truly value. if we aren't educated enough to know better what's the point in voting at all.
